How to Get There

1. Fly to Santiago, Chile (SCL) Most international flights arrive in Santiago in the morning.
2. Connect to Temuco (ZCO) A short 1.5-hour domestic flight (LATAM, Sky Airline, or JetSmart).
3. VIP Transfer Our driver will greet you at ZCO for a scenic 2.5-hour drive directly to Rahue House.

Best Season

  • November: Early season. Water levels drop, revealing spectacular sight fishing opportunities and hungry fish.
  • Dec - Feb: Peak summer. Warmest weather, prolific hatches, excellent dry fly action, and long days.
  • March - April: Autumn colors emerge. Cooler days yield aggressive strikes from massive brown trout preparing for winter.

What to Bring

  • Fishing: 5 to 7 weight rods, floating & sinking tip lines, breathable waders, wading boots (no felt soles).
  • Hunting/Campo: Sturdy hiking boots, earth-tone layers, quality optics.
  • Clothing: Layering is essential. Windproof/waterproof jacket, fleece, polarized sunglasses, sun protection, casual lodge wear.

Visa & Logistics

  • Visas: Citizens of the US, Canada, EU, and UK do not need a visa for tourist stays up to 90 days.
  • Currency: Chilean Peso (CLP). Credit cards are widely accepted, but bring some cash for small purchases before arrival. Tips at the lodge can be paid in USD.
  • Electricity: 220V, plugs type C/L. Adapters are available at the lodge.
  • Connectivity: The lodge offers reliable Starlink Wi-Fi.

What is the skill level required for fishing?
We cater to all levels. Beginners will receive expert casting instruction from our guides, while seasoned anglers will find challenging, highly technical waters.
Is the lodge suitable for non-angling companions?
Absolutely. Our Caza & Campo and Full Experience packages offer horseback riding, hiking, spa services, and culinary experiences that are perfect for non-anglers.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. Our private chef will tailor the menu to accommodate any allergies, dietary requirements, or preferences with advanced notice.
Do I need to bring my own gear?
While many prefer their own, we provide premium rods, reels, and basic tackle. Waders and boots are best brought by guests for proper fit, though we carry limited spares.
What is the cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit secures your dates. Deposits are non-refundable but can be rolled over to the following season if cancelled 90+ days prior to arrival.
