Terms & Conditions
Operational Season: 2026/2027 · Rahue House Patagonia
Welcome to Rahue House. These Terms & Conditions govern all reservation contracts, sporting itineraries, private accommodations, and hospitality services provided by Rahue House in Neuquén Province, Argentine Patagonia. By requesting a reservation confirmation or remitting a deposit, you agree to adhere to these terms on behalf of all participants in your travel party.
1. Reservation Schedule and Payment Terms
Because Rahue House maintains an intimate capacity of maximum 12 guests per week to preserve our private waters and hunting terrain, reservation dates are held on an exclusive basis under the following schedule:
- Reservation Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total package rate is required upon reservation confirmation to secure private suite allocations, dedicated certified river guides, and field staff.
- Final Balance Settlement: The remaining 50% balance must be settled no later than 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date at the lodge.
- Short-Notice Bookings: For reservations confirmed within 60 days of arrival, payment in full (100%) is required upon booking.
2. Cancellation, Date Rescheduling & Refund Policies
Due to exclusive river beat reservations and guide assignments, cancellations significantly affect lodge operations:
- Cancellations 90+ days prior to arrival: Deposit refunded minus a 5% administrative fee.
- Cancellations 60 to 90 days prior to arrival: Deposits are non-refundable but may be credited toward a future stay within the current or subsequent sporting season, subject to availability.
- Cancellations within 60 days of arrival: All payments are strictly non-refundable. We strongly advise purchasing comprehensive travel and trip cancellation insurance.
3. Strict Catch & Release and Fair-Chase Ethics
Rahue House operates under uncompromising conservation covenants:
- Fly Fishing: 100% Catch and Release with single barbless hooks is strictly enforced across all waters (Río Quillen, Río Rahue, Río Aluminé). Trout handling protocols must follow head guide directives.
- Big Game Hunting: All expeditions strictly adhere to provincial quotas, ethical fair-chase standards, and humane harvesting principles.
4. Liability & Travel Insurance Requirements
Guests participate in outdoor wilderness activities, river wading, horseback riding, and off-road campo transport at their own discretion. While our certified guides maintain rigorous safety standards and first-aid kits, Rahue House assumes no liability for personal injury, flight cancellations, or baggage loss. International medical and travel insurance is mandatory for all guests.
